After being dumped by her boyfriend of two years, and lack of interest in her job, Kate Hamilton decides to head for Gospel, Idaho. Gospel was a small town where Kate had spent her childhood in her grandparents general store
and she had fond memories. Though her grandmother has passed on she looked forward to spending some time with her grandpa and keeping him company.
Here in this small town just happened to be the place where Kate found her man. Rob Sutter, owner of Sutter Sports just happened to walk into M&S 's market and into Kate's life. Well not really, for a few weeks back Kate had met Rob in Sun Valley where she had tried to pick him up at a bar. She was a bit offended that he refused her offer and when they met again in Gospel she was a bit taken back.
Though he was as handsome as a man could be Kate still remembered that he did refuse her offer. Kate wasn't looking for love but it did find her and the thought of being let down again was still fresh in her mind.
Rob Sutter also had some issues, a failed marriage, a daughter who he adored and the scares of a former affair who had tried to kill him. Was he ready to become involved with this stubborn, red hair who stirred his blood to want more than just the one night stand she had offered. With all the young ladies in Gospel seeking his attention, it's Kate who seems to have it all wrapped in a neat package, a package that Rob would like to unwrap.
This is a story that will have the reader wanting to push these two together when they see how perfect they are for each other. You know that Kate will never leave Gospel and the small town will be where she settles. It's the type of romance that leaves us feeling more than just we read a book
-- it gives us a warm feeling.
