Don and Ariel two souls searching for something lacking in their lives meet in a Psychiatric Boarding Home. Ariel whose bubbly personality and sparking eyes seemed to capture Don's heart the moment he saw her. Her smile sent images of how wonderful their lives would be together in Don's mind. He wanted to spend the rest of his life protecting her.
Both had lost someone they loved very much and they were on the verge picking up the pieces and trying to find reality in life again. Only reality for Ariel is something far more different than what it appears to be.
What you have here is a man who is totally in love with this woman and is willing to do anything and everything for her only maybe it's just not enough. Ariel had her own demons to overcome and in the process her love for Don couldn't overcome love with the life she felt was her reality.
A sad ending leaving the reader feeling the emotions of what Don goes through but I have the feeling that he will make it through this and one day will find that special soul he seeks. I think the
author has done a good job describing the characters and bringing interest to their story.
