ON THE RIGHT SIDE OF A DREAM by Sheila Williams

On the Right Side of a Dream follows the story of middle-aged, sassy, independent, and courageous Juanita Lewis as she climbs aboard her friend’s semi-truck and heads for new adventures. A promise made to herself – once she has a place to come back to she could explore. And, Paper Moon is now her home because that is where her heart is.

It’s the cooking that seems to drive Juanita’s journeys – first she takes over the Paper Moon Diner and then it’s out West where she takes up cooking for a bunch of celebrities at a spa. It’s here Juanita realizes her dreams can come true, as long as you’re willing to change a few things along the way.

Juanita heads back to Paper Moon Diner in Montana as the new heir of an old mansion. Once she gets things figured out, there’s another decision to make, and still the voices from Cleveland just won’t leave her alone.

Juanita Lewis is one my favorite heroines. She is brave, smart, and spunky. She kind of reminds me of my mom, except my mom didn’t have such selfish children! Juanita draws you into her world and lets you ride along, what a fun ride it is.

Ms. Williams writing is tight, yet flows freely. She is a gifted story teller, bringing the reader in from page one and not letting us go until the end. On The Right Side of The Dream is the perfect title for this sort of updated kind of Cinderella story!
