Jonathan Trent needed a wife on a part time basis. A foolish bet with an old friend places him in a situation where he either marries in a month and remains married for six months or loss one of his companies
successful radio stations.
Kelly McClaire was a bright and business savvy new employee in Trent &Trent Media. She had worked long and hard to get this position, after her husband walked out on her after six years of marriage leaving her with more debts than she wanted to think of, this job was her way out of the red so to speak. After an altercation with one of Trent Media's biggest accounts do to the fact of harassment on the client's, Kelly felt that being called to the fifth floor executive office was her notification that she was being terminated.
Jonathan Trent was a cautious man and before he did anything he investigated all avenues. When he saw Kelsey he was immediately attracted to her yet he had made the mistake once and that ended in divorce. He offered Kelsey the job of a lifetime. To travel around the world, lived like a queen and an unlimited expense account. The one catch was she was to agree to marry him within the month and stay married to him for six months.
To the public they would be devoted to each other and madly in love, in private they would have separate quarters.
Kelsey couldn't believe his offer, of all the women in the firm why her? He assured her it would be a complete business agreement and that at the end of six months the marriage would end. And so Kelsey McClaire agreed to a business arrangement with Jonathan Trent, a business arrangement that slowly this arrangement was leading to emotions that both of them were about to think on more of a permanent arrangement.
A cute story that has the reader taken into the lives of both these characters and wanting to give them a gentle shove into romance. Both a bit uneasy after their first try at marriage that failed but this time though for the wrong reasons
and certainly not romantic they still fell in love. A light romance that all readers will enjoy.
