Prince Thane and his brothers must marry the descendents of a powerful race that wield the power of the light. Though the race was thought to have been dead, it has only come to light that the race still lives on through some women that reside on earth and are unaware of their lineage. It is Thane’s job to bring these women and for he and his brothers to then marry them. Thane knows that Raven is supposed to be his from the moment he sees her and has to convince her that they belong together.
Raven Storm is dissatisfied with her life as a model and after a disastrous photo shoot she decides to take time off. She’s drawn to an unknown location and is soon thereafter taken prisoner. Raven recognizes her attraction to Thane and must come to terms not only with it but with her new found knowledge of who she is.
RAVEN’S CALLING is a great story about a prince that must seek to find a way to protect his people and in the process finds love. Thane finds his destined mate and isn’t willing to allow anyone, not even his brother the king, stand in his way. The first installment of the Descendants of the Light series leaves readers at the edge of their seats and eager to find out more. Eve Vaughn is a wonderful writer and will have readers impatiently awaiting more of her work.
