Mairi Neeshahn has been sent back in time to save the life of Prince Raiden Tzacher and thereby prevent a war. Prince Raiden is at the bottom of a large body of water which is why Mairi is perfect for this mission, she can breath water. Mairi didn’t expect t find herself attracted to Raiden but she is so she has to find out what that means as well as make sure he completes the mission he had embarked on.
Prince Raiden Tzacher is just about to attempt a daring rescue for himself when Mairi appears to rescue him. Instantly intrigued and attracted to her Raiden is at first unsure if Mairi is there to help him or kill him. But soon comes to realize just how much Mairi means to him and that he wants her for more then just a while but first he must finish what he came to do.
MAIRI is a wonderful story about love that is meant to be. The elements of the other worldly make the story even more fascinating and will hold a readers interest until the last page. Michele Chambers created a great story that will have readers clamoring for more of her work and impatiently waiting for the next installment in the Timewalkers series.
