Logan Industries was in trouble someone on the side was selling information and it was Jake Ramsey's job to find out who. Jake Ramsey was head of security for Logan Industries and Samuel Logan trusted him to get this job done. Obtaining information that a meeting was to take
place out at the boathouse near the Logan family cabin sent Jake up to the cabin a few days before the scheduled meeting.
Unknown to all, Samantha Logan was heading to the cabin after calling her wedding off only a day before the ceremony. Samuel Logan's only daughter thought she had found true love on Grayson St. James, a young
protegé of her Uncle Delbert's, only to find that night before the
wedding Grayson was engaged in a sexual escapade with another woman. That sent Samantha running and the only safe place or so she thought was the cabin. A young runaway bride running from love or to it:?
Jake Ramsey had always been there for Samantha since her teen years, but now she was all grown up. Jake himself couldn't believe that young girl he knew has developed into the beauty she was today. Yet still a beauty who deserved better than him. St. James was moving up in the company and would be the better choice, but he still took it upon himself to have him checked out.
Their meeting was in short head on and didn't get off to the best of starts. When Samantha found out the real reason Jake was there not to mention the prime suspect was her brother Tad, she was determined to prove Jake wrong. Living
in close quarters can either destroy a friendship or light the fires of
passion.
Not just a romance, the plot has a few well placed mysteries that will keep the reader on the edge of their seats until the end. A few surprises are thrown in also: who really is Grayson St. James, was Tad really guilty and what is the mystery that Jake has hidden in his laptop.
