Undercover
cop, Danny Sinofsky is a hell of a cop, a “bring the bad guys down”
type of
man. But when he loses his sight during a weapons bust, Danny’s angry
and frustrated
at the drastic changes his life takes.
Martha Crowe
saw an attempt made on Danny’s life and fought her way to get to him. As the drama unfolds, Martha is thrown into
protection, with Danny, and helping him come to terms with his
inability to
see. Martha once had a crush on Danny in high school, and doubts her
remembers
her at all, but she finds herself feeling more for him than she knows
is wise.
Danny and
Martha fight to stay one-step ahead of a killer, all the while learning
more
about one another. Danny “sees” beneath Martha’s cool façade she
shows the
world and finds himself falling for her. Martha is his eyes as they
fight to
stay alive. Will Martha come to be more than that if they make it out
alive?
Annie Solomon’s
story, Blind Curve is wonderfully
written. Ms. Solomon intricately weaves the instincts of a man, who
can’t see,
with the eyes of a woman who he wants to keep safe. The combination of
Danny
and Martha is superbly written; the characters balance one another and
flow
with ease. The past of the characters is deep and moving. Neither
really wants
to be involved in a relationship, but fate plays its hand and it’s hard
for
both of them to fall.
With
fast-paced adrenaline, readers are caught breathless through many
scenes of Blind Curve. Danny and Martha
just speak to the reader, the powerful plot, and the talent of the
author just
blends together for a superb story.
Annie Solomon is an author I won’t miss any releases
from in the future.
