Beautiful
Leah Scarpelli has been married to the love of her life, Nick
Scarpelli, for
almost nineteen years. While they’ve had their challenges, the
Scarpelli’s have
had a successful marriage and raised two wonderful children. Since the
day she
met him, Leah has only ever been out with another man once, before she
married
Nick. Unfortunately, that long ago date meant more to the other man
then it did
to Leah.
Things
seemed to be going so well for the Scarpelli family until Kane Lambert
comes
into their lives. Nick is overwhelmingly jealous that Leah ever went
out with
Kane. Will that long ago encounter destroy their marriage? And what
about Leah’s
best friend Greer? Doesn’t she realize that Leah loves her husband?
Doesn’t
Greer know how important her friendship has always been to Leah?
Just when
things are going along nicely, reality rears its ugly head for the
Scarpelli’s.
Leah is a strong woman. In fact, she is much stronger than she has ever
been
given credit for. She realizes that she really is more than a pretty
face. Not
only does she learn of her untapped strength, those who know her
realize that
she has untold depths as well.
WAIT THE
MORNING LIGHT is a well written and beautifully detailed. Ms. Drury has
captured the nuances of a family in good times and crisis beautifully
in this
book. I warn you though; this is not a delightful romp with
lighthearted
romance and zany adventures. Just like in real life, there’s stress,
strain,
and plenty of emotions.
