Life changes drastically for Julia Boudreaux when she loses all her wealth and becomes a lowly producer at the television station she once used to own. In trying to come up with a knockout new idea for a makeover reality show to prove her mettle professionally, she also decides to makeover herself personally. With complex characters, intense emotions and a fast-paced, twisted plot this master storyteller weaves a story that’s simply irresistible. Whether Julia in search of her own true self or Ben seeking painful truths about his partner’s death or some equally complicated side characters, Lee brings a level of passion, depth and truth that’s outstanding and one that makes the readers long for the book never to end. But alas, it does…and readers are left with a story and a series that’s a superb example of Lee’s terrific story-telling abilities, masterful plotting and sensitivity.
