This magazine size bible is the perfect carry along to school, on the plane, or on the battle field (some copies have made it to Iraq for our troops). The Bible has different opportunities for service, quizzes, and scripture highlights that challenge readers to express radical faith. There are Inside Her Head sections where a question about the female gender is asked and answered, snippets on how to have healthy relationships, Look Cool areas that offer tips on yourself, Bible Basics sections, and of course monthly calendars.
I am sure some will not like this format, thinking it too modern, but I know people who are reading these ‘magazine’ bibles who have never read a traditional Bible. As long as they’re reading about Jesus the one and only Son of God, I’m good with that!
I think this should be given to males of all ages, although it’s geared for maybe senior high/college age kids. Very much recommended.
