With flashbacks that follow the lives of two women prisoners in the hellish existence that were WWII German death camps OBSESSED spans generations to tell its powerful story and the secrets that link the characters together. It’s not a basic good guy vs. bad guy battle; instead it is good vs. evil war.
Dekker doesn’t fail to write intriguing original stories that entertain as well as teach. Obsessed hits on many different levels, from the base need to know God, to the ultimate relationship with Him : Obsession. In the middle Dekker’s story has us riveted and rooting for those who once victims to become the victors.
Highly recommended.
