When she’s
on the verge of losing her condo, Beatrice, aka “Bunny” Love decides
she needs
a new job and lands an interview with McNulty Events. A woman who lives
by
colours to shape her moods, lift her spirits and get inspiration from,
Bunny is
saddened by the grey tones and lack of colour at McNulty’s. Though not
sure she
could work in that environment, she needs the money and has no choice
to agree
to arrange the Worthington Cup Dog Show – society’s prestigious event
for their
pooches. Bunny has never planned such a
huge event before, but her new boss, Nathan McNulty needs someone
pronto and
she’ll have to do. While she tries to prove to Nathan she can get the
job done,
Bunny fights an attraction to Nathan, which is unlike anything she’s
ever felt
before, especially when Nathan is the extreme opposite of her. He’s staid, colourless and doesn’t seem to
allow fun into his life. However, it doesn’t stop Bunny from falling
fast and
hard…
Nathan
McNulty vows to keep his family’s company, when his Aunt Martha starts
talking
about selling to one of his rivals, unless Nathan can turn the company
around. When
Nathan lands the job to put on the Worthington Cup Dog Show, he
believes it’s
only a matter of time before the company is his to control. A man who lives a serious life, the past
altered his carefree ways and he is hesitant to change his ways, chaos
soon
disrupts his life in the form of energetic, beautiful and captivating
woman,
Beatrice Love. She’s far from the “normal” type of woman Nathan is
attracted
to. In fact, his fiancée is the complete opposite of Beatrice. So why does Nathan feel like cuddling up with
Bunny Love for the rest of his life…?
Charming
and a fun storyline is what readers can enjoy in Get
Bunny Love by Kathleen Long. Nathan, though stoic and
gun-shy about many things, is a capturing characters whose testosterone
could
be felt off the pages, he was all man and quite enigmatic.
Bunny was a light-hearted and fun character
who added life to the story and the characters lives. I did find Bunny
at times
annoying with the “aura/colours”, however she was sweet and so much
fun, I was
able to get through those small annoyances. The characters totally
brought this
story to life; they all add different facts to the story with the
hearts and
charm.
Get Bunny Love is a light-hearted romp
that
readers of contemporary romances can enjoy. I look forward to reading
more from
Kathleen Long in the future.
