Twenty-eight-year old Casey had her engagement broken off at the last minute. She’s determined to throw herself into her career and not worry about men.
Shawn Lafferty pilots Valerie’s plane as she scoots around glad-handing and making her clients happy. Shawn and Casey find a common thread, Val is annoying. Despite Shawn’s ties to Val, he spirits Casey away from her duties and makes a bet with her. Five thousand dollars rides on Casey being able to date and work her demanding job.
Cheryl N. Warner has taken a common theme: women who want it all, and woven a magical tale. Casey reaches the point most do in life, setting priorities. Autumn Crossroad contains twists and turns and a moving plot. What an enjoyable read.
