“WICKED” WOMEN ON TOP anthology

Let the Games Begin ~ Tina Donahue
When Nick Marlow learns that his partner has given controlling interest of their casino to his daughter, Tiffany, Nick is sure he’s going to have to babysit her more than work with her. But seeing Tiffany Taylor again all grown-up and involved in the business, he realizes he’s about to enter into the most crucial game of his life. As Nick and Tiffany make high-stake bets on one another, they learn that sometimes it’s even better to “lose” than win.

Not Another Fairytale ~ Jen Nicholas
Do you think that all writers who write columns in romance magazines believe in romance and happily-ever-after?  We would hope so, but such is not the case for romance magazine columnist, Allison Dare. She doesn’t believe in happy endings or Prince Charming. But when J.T. Freedom, a hunk who makes her mouth dry and her body ache, falls into her arms, Allison questions all she’s believed. As J.T. shows her all her fantasies coming to life, she begins to think that she has found her very own Prince Charming after all.

Private Investigations ~ Jordan Summers
Cara Martin and Brandon Walker haven’t seen one another in over a decade. Each of them has played the lead role in each of their fantasies for years. As they stumble upon one another, they are both surprised at the situation, but neither can resist acting upon their long dormant attraction to each other.  As things heat up between Brandon and Cara, their professional images are called into question and secrets are hard to keep. What is Cara hiding and why? Will Brandon realize that his best friend’s little sister is all grown-up and wants him as much as he wants her?

“Wicked” Women on Top showcases three authors who are exceptional writers. Tina Donahue is one author I am sad to say I have never had the pleasure to read before, but I will be tracking down copies of the titles from her backlist. This author captured my attention to her work while reading Let the Games Begin. Nick and Tiffany are hot, electric and heart-warming characters. This story is fast-paced and takes a reader’s breath away. I loved the sass of Tiffany and the controlled nature of Nick. Together they light the world on fire! Kudos to Ms. Donahue for writing a contemporary romance that shines.

Jen Nicholas’ story, Not Another Fairytale, will have cynics like Allison Dare, believing in love. As a fan of this author under another pseudonym, the thing that has her at the top of my fave list is her writing pen. Her contemporary romances give her readers everything they want and more. J.T. is a walking wet dream who worms his way into the reader’s heart and Allison’s.  The two of them together are seductive and passionate. Watching Allison fall in love was endearing and wonderfully written. This author is moving up the ladder in contemporary romance. She’s one to watch!

Jordan Summers’ Private Investigations is one of my favourite kinds of story, when two people meet again after years away and their crush leads to so much more.  I love this kind of contemporary story and Ms. Summers delivers it amazingly well. Brandon and Cara set the pages on fire with their heat and the interest of the reader is hooked from the first page of this story. Ms. Summers keeps the intensity between the characters high and the story moving at a fast pace. Purely enjoyable!

”Wicked” Women on Top has three wonderful contemporary romances within its pages that shouldn’t be missed. Each sports its own flavour and the stories are brought together nicely with action, passion, honest and sassy characters, and the writing talents of three authors who give their audience all they could want in romance. Jen Nicholas, Tina Donahue and Jordan Summers are three “wicked” authors on top of their writing. I can’t wait to read more from each of them in the future.
