THE QUESTION OF ROYALTY by Kai Andersen

Prince Fredrick of Mithirien made a vow to his dying mother to marry a real princess. His stepsister, Giselda wants to be that princess and is willing to do anything to ensure that she is. But Fredrick doesn’t want anything to do with her and views her as an annoyance and nothing more. Then a stranger stumbles into Fredrick’s hunting lodge and he falls in lust and wonders if there could be more between him and the stranger.

Serena is on the run form an unwanted marriage and is forced to take refuge in a hunting lodge when it begins to storm. She has to share this lodge with Prince Fredrick and is welcomed by him, but not by his stepsister. The more time she spends with Fredrick the harder it becomes for Serena to act like a lady and the more she falls for Fredrick.

THE QUESTION OF ROYALTY is a nicely written story that lovers of prince and princess stories who get a happy ending will enjoy. The characters desire to find love and not marry for any other reason is touching and speaks of everyone’s desire to find such love regardless of rank. Kai Andersen did a great job writing a compelling tale that will make readers want to read more of her work.
