Captain Roman Parker has wanted Destiny Stewart since the day he met her. Roman has kept his feelings under wraps because of Destiny’s lack of interest. To appease his consuming desire Roman tries for an imitation of the real thing and though physically relieved, he is left still wanting the real thing.

Lieutenant Commander Destiny Stewart has feelings for her captain but has restrained herself from acting on those feelings. After catching Roman being serviced by a woman, Destiny finds it unbearable to continue working with him so seizes a chance to get away.

Unexpected circumstances throw them together and if they can work through the misunderstandings there just might be more than satiation to be gained.

PREPARED TO PLEASE is a great story of two people who have feelings for one another and who, for reasons of their own, are unwilling to take the initial step in pursuing their attraction. I found the circumstances surrounding their union to be highly amusing and entertaining. Mandy M. Roth does a great job creating appealing characters and interesting circumstances for her characters and you get a delightful story that will appeal to readers. I look forward to reading more of Mandy M. Roth’s work.
