Kidnapped and sold into slavery, Princess Jaelle’n is bought by Aguilar, a man who trains and sells pleasure slaves. She must adjust to the harem-like training if she wants to survive. Despite her best efforts, Jaelle’n cannot resist her attraction to Aguilar and his expert attentions and she finds herself falling in love with him. How will she handle the heartbreak of being sold to another master? Is Aguilar showing some affection for Jaelle’n as well? Who will ultimately tame whom?
This is a very sensual book that goes into a lot of detail about Aguilar’s seduction of Jaelle’n. This story is a novella, and its quick pace makes this a fast read.
While there is some effort to show the reader Jaelle’n’s thoughts and feelings, she is definitely not a fully developed and multi-faceted character. Jaelle’n seems to give in without much of a fight, but I chalked it up to the short length of the book.
Aguilar is big, handsome, and sensual. Other than that, readers are not given much information about him or his thoughts until the end of the story. As a result, his character also only touches the surface.
If I was looking for a hot story without too much plot, this story would fit the bill. This novella was good, but I was disappointed to find mostly sex scenes and little story.
