KIMBERLEE'S KEEPER by Reese Gabriel
;

Kimberlee Breen is an international aid worker in the country of Lavoria. One of her native workers has been arrested by the army on a bogus charge, and Kimberlee knows that Maria is destined for white slavers. In order to prevent this, Kimberlee bursts into a restaurant where the general in charge of the army is dining. She is counting on her American citizenship to protect her from danger. One of the men at the table is also American, known as Roarke. The men bet that Roarke cannot train her as a sex slave in one week. Roarke takes the challenge, and Kimberlee goes along with it only because the general agrees to pardon Maria if she does.

Edward Roarke is an undercover agent with the Global Security Organization. When Kimberlee interrupts his dinner with the ruling junta, he agrees to train her as a slave to keep her from a worse fate. However, once he has the beautiful woman at his mercy, he follows through with the training. He knows that the generals will be watching, and will know if they try to fake it. Of course, the fact that he is a dominant makes it all the more interesting for him.

With a military coup in progress, and the need to be real master and slave in order to survive, Roarke and Kimberlee deal with their own intimate combat. This book was interesting and amusing at times. Kimberlee gives as good as she gets, and Roarke is the perfect match for her. As their danger increases, so does her submission to him.

I highly recommend Kimberlee’s Keeper to those who enjoy a story of an exclusive couple in a BDSM relationship. Reese Gabriel’s books are edgy without crossing the line into brutality. This book is not for the faint of heart as some of the scenes are very intense.
