BY HONOR BOUND is the story of a military family and their relationships. The anthology starts with Abraham and Annie’s story and then stories about their son Blayne and daughter Annie. All of the stories provided great reading and are written by authors at the top of their game in the erotic genre. With our US military men and women at the forefront these days, you will get some insight into their feels about going abroad and leaving loved ones behind.
HIS SISTER’S KISS By: Kate Hill
Master Sergeant Abraham Forbes promised his best friend Jim on his deathbed that once he got home, he would check on Jim’s sister Angela and his daughter Polly and make sure they had everything they needed. Now, Angela Franco finds herself standing face to face with her brother’s gorgeous Marine buddy. The attraction between Angela and Abraham is intense and immediate. Angela and Polly extend Abraham an invitation to stay for dinner and to spend a quite Christmas with them. Having no family, Abraham accepts the invitation. His dream is to have a family and Angela and Polly are exactly what he’s looking for. It doesn’t take long for a relationship to develop, but will devotion to the Marines threaten it? Will Angela be able to cope when Abraham is called to return to Vietnam.
HIS SISTER’S KISS is probably my favorite of the three stories. It’s heartwarming and sensuously erotic; a combination that is hard to achieve, but Kate Hill does it masterfully.
MAJOR PLEASURE By: Denise A. Agnew
Major Blayne Forbes and Jemma Teagan have known each other for a long time. Jemma is Blayne’s best friend Graham’s sister. Blayne has secretly wanted Jemma for a long time, but because of Graham, he’s never acted upon the attraction. Jemma feels the same way about Blayne, but she doesn’t think he returns her feelings. When a snow storm traps them in Blaynes apartment, they can’t deny the attraction any longer. Long suppressed feelings surface and it’s not long until they are talking about forever. When Blayne, a Special Forces operative, gets orders to return to active duty for an undetermined amount of time, will Jemma wait for him?
Denise A. Agnew is an excellent author who knows how to make hot even hotter. The well developed characters, a touching storyline and hot…hot…hot sex makes MAJOR PLEASURE a major pleasure to read.
CHARMING ANNIE By: Arianna Hart
Major Annie Forbes works as a nurse at Walter Reed Army Medical Center. When terrorists take over the hospital, Annie is forced to work with Captain Mace O’Keefe to get out alive. It doesn’t take long for these two, high on the adrenaline rush to give into the lust they feel for each other. When they are finally rescued, Mace wants to date Annie. He wants her to know that he wants her for more than just in the moment. Annie knows how she feels about Mace, but he’s driving her crazy making her wait for the one thing she wants most.
I thoroughly enjoyed CHARMING ANNIE. It rounded out an already great anthology. Arianna Hart proves once again she is a talent to be reckoned with in the erotic genre.
