Heading
home after the end of her marriage, Daisy Campbell wanted nothing more
to just
get there and begin picking up the pieces of her life. But a snowstorm
had
other plans for Daisy, as she arrives home to no power and no heat. Daisy ventures back into the storm to make
her way to her neighbours, who she hopes will let her stay there. But Daisy only finds the handyman, who
is
renovating the neighbour’s house, unconscious after falling from his
ladder.
Daisy nurses Teague Larson back to health as they are snowed in
together. Daisy finds herself telling
Teague things
about herself that she has never shared easily with others. She feels
an
attraction to Teague that scares her, but she is helpless to fight it
and gives
into a wild moment.
Teague
Larson has never met a woman like Daisy before. Her independence and
genuine
heart draw him in and he falls in love, fast and hard. But Daisy
doesn’t want a
relationship; she keeps him at arms length. But Teague thinks Daisy is
worth
fighting for and will stop at nothing to show her they belong together.
Book three
in the Scent of Lavender trilogy, Wild
in the Moment by Jennifer
Greene is a wonderful ending to the Campbell
sister’s journeys to love, that readers have come to enjoy. Teague and Daisy were a wonderful adventure
that readers are taken on. The characters were fun, charming and a joy
to know.
Daisy’s sass and wit showed only the surface of the woman she is. Ms.
Greene
penned a genuine and heart-warming woman beneath it all, who really
cared about
others and put many people’s happiness before her own. Teague is a hero
to fall
in love with very easily. His determination to make Daisy his, yet his
understanding in giving her time, was romantic and showed his enriched
heart
and character.
Jennifer
Greene captures the power of love and heart seamlessly with her words. He characters are bold, refreshing and
unforgettable. Most of all, her characters are written with
authenticity and
magnificence. Wild in the Moment
is a contemporary romance not to be missed.
