Four years have gone by since Abramm fled his kingdom in The Light of Eidon. Abramm has been living peacefully abroad, but when he hears of a monstrous creature attacking his homeland, he returns to fight the beast and reclaim the crown he thought he’d never wear.

THE SHADOW WITHIN is book two in The Legends of the Guardian King series. Readers will want to read book one in the series first, The Light of Eidon,
as most of the events that take place in THE SHADOW WITHIN will not make
sense without knowing the background.
I had to really struggle to get into THE SHADOW WITHIN and put it down several times to read other books more appealing to me.
But when I did sit down the actually read it, some of the events in the story were quite exciting once I got past the strange terminology.
I don’t normally read fantasy, but my husband loves it, and he is looking forward to reading this book as he enjoyed the first book in the series. If you love fantasy, then THE SHADOW WITHIN is a good book to pick up.
