Sprightly Holly Jeffries
has been left in charge at the Mountain Laurel
Lodge. The owners, the Westons’ have gone on a cruise that Holly
encouraged
them to take. Convinced she could handle everything with Christmas two
days
away, she did not expect a near walkout of the kitchen staff or a Santa
with a
broken leg.
To Holly’s rescue comes Mike Weston, the son of the owners and big-time
lawyer.
The most gorgeous man she has ever laid eyes on. The lodge is full and
Holly
needs his help, quick, but can she convince him to play Santa Claus?
Mike makes
a bargain with Holly and the sprightly girl will have to play Santa’s
Helper. How can she possibly resist him? So what if she has to
wear that
short little tunic, green tights and pointy elf shoes.
There is magic in the air this Christmas at the Mountain Laurel Lodge,
and the
fire in the fireplace is not the only thing heating up around there!
This is
destined to be one Christmas Holly Jeffries will never forget.
Packed into a short story
are all the elements necessary to provide a
believable tale. The characters of Holly Jeffries and Mike Weston
provide just
the right combination of personalities to spark the possibility of
romance.
Colorful descriptions of Mountain Laurel Lodge add to the festivity of
this
charming Christmas story. Do you believe in the magic of Christmas? You
will
after reading Santa's Helper!
