Night Ecstasy ~ Rebecca
York
Taylor
Lawson, an artist, moved to New
Orleans to leave her ex-boyfreind and dullness
behind.
In an artisit “funk”, Taylor
decides to call Jules DeMario, whose name and number were given to her
by a
mutual friend, to show her around town. In the hopes of lighting a fire
and
inspiration to her life, Taylor
never imagined everything Jules would bring to her life. Taylor most
especially never expected to wake
up one morning and find two bite marks on her neck…
Rebecca
York pens a delicious vampire and a romantic story with Night
Ecstasy. Jules and Taylor are wonderful characters who
heat up the pages. I was very interested throughout the story, to see
how Jules
inability to make love with actual intercourse would play out. To say I
was
surprised at the conclusion is an understatement, but I loved it. It
was a very
creative idea and unique. Kudos to Ms. York on this titillating tale!
Velvet Night ~ Rosemary
Laurey
While
police officer, Vickie Anderson is spending some much-needed downtime
at her Ridge
Mountains
getaway, she meets Pete Falcon. There is something about Pete that
intrigues
her and she finds herself looking for him to come by. But Vickie’s cop
instincts tell her that Pete is not all that he seems. Should she
listen to her
instincts or let her desire lead her for once? Which will she choose
and will
she regret her decision when she learns his secrets and sees his fangs?
Rosemary
Laurey’s contribution to this anthology is an enticing tale with
charismatic
characters. Pete and Vickie are adventurous, passionate and endearing. Velvet Night is a hot and
entertaining story of finding love when you least expect it.
Midnight Court ~ Linda
Thomas-Sundstrom
When
Chrsitopher Dante accepted the invitation to the infamous Midnight
Court hosted
by Lord Rothchilde, he expected an evening like any other gathering –
one of
greed and fake politeness. But Christopher finds more temptation than
he might
be able to resist. He’s enraptured with
Lord Rothchilde’s fiancée and his former lover, Elizabeth will
do anything to
keep Christopher with her. Elizabeth
tests Christopher to his limits throughout the evening. Will he pass or
will
his life finally be over?
Linda Thomas-Sundstrom’s Midnight
Court adds an elegance to this anthology. The characters and
the
setting are described wonderfully and the mix of history rounds out
this
anthology splendidly. These characters draw a reader in and hold them
captive.
This was my first time reading this authors work. I will be looking for
more!
Immortal Bad Boys is a good showing of
dark and
sensual romance and shows the writing talents of these authors.
Recommended for
those who enjoy the immortal and bad boys!
