After
witnessing what can happen when a dragon’s mate rejects
there union, Prince Bren of Xicanth, vows not to allow his dragon half
rage out
of control and harm a woman. Later at a meeting, where he is advocating
the
rights of dragons, he is forced to accept the hospitality of his host
to
prevent an insult from being taken. Having never made love to a woman
due to
his dragons desire to mate only with its destined mate, Bren expected
to spend
the night conversing with his offered bed partner or at the most orally
and
manually satisfying her. But what he got was more than he expected, and
might
just be everything he’s hoped for and feared.
Keene was at
the meeting to accomplish a mission and getting close to the Prince is
necessary for her to carry it out. From all reports Keene thought she was going to spend
the
night conversing with the Prince but instead she was treated to the
most mind
blowing sex she’s ever experienced. Keene’s
feelings are becoming more than is wise in order for her to complete
her
mission and it causes her to question her loyalties.
DRAGON’S
RISE was a delightful story with characters that
speak to the part of readers that wants someone to love them completely
and who
want someone who sees the beauty in them, that they themselves
sometimes can’t
see. Tielle St. Clare did a wonderful
job creating a wonderful story with memorable characters and is someone
that I
will look forward to reading more from in the future.
