Widow Paul Stewart’s twins and his home need Nanny Rose Danby’s feminine loving touch. And, so does Paul’s heart. He knows life would be difficult and dreadful without the sunshine presence of his children’s Nanny. He’s developing romantic feelings for her and when the time comes for him to move from Minnesota to California he asks Rose to marry him. It’s the logical thing to do.
Nanny Rose Danby loves her job. She adores the twins and feels comfortable around Paul. However, when Paul asks her to marry him, she refuses. In her past a romantic relationship with her boss left scars. She’s not willing to do that again. Even though she’s drawn to Paul and she wants a family, Rose won’t put herself in jeopardy again.
Conflicted hearts, the love of family and children, trust, fate, and of course faith, all combine to make a wonderful charming Christmas story. And, what better time to find love than in the season of love?
THAT CHRISTMAS FEELING is a 2-in-1 hardback Steeple Hill Christmas book. Ms. Martin’s story, CHRISTMAS MOON is one tale, author Catherine Palmer is author of the other story.
Highly recommended for a heartwarming, chilly afternoon read!
