Nigel and
his niece Edwina are taking advantage of a little magic to play
matchmaker for
some unlikely couples. Through the use of a sewing machine and a few
special
words, they create something perfect that helps couples find their way
together, who would never meet otherwise. A little bit of helpful magic
and a
gentle nudge is all that most couples need…

Derica was
in search of the perfect accompaniment for the black pantsuit that she
always
wears to her office parties. However, in her search of it, she finds
the most
perfect dress that she has ever seen. It calls to her from a shop
window and
she answers that call. When she goes inside, she manages to talk the
owner into
letting her take it home. However, his condition is for her to rent it
and
return it at the end of the month. She agrees, because she wants the
dress and
it is well worth the deposit that she made for it. She ends up getting
more
than she bargained for with her magical dress though, a whole lot more.
On her way
to the party, she is sidetracked by a director, who insists that she is
the
model for his shoot. She has no choice but to agree to be photographed
for a
book cover and TV ad, so that she can get to her party. She has no
complaint
though, when she sees who her ad partner will be. Kailen is handsome,
sexy and
they have scorching chemistry in front of the camera. She couldn’t be
happier
when he admits that he feels the same chemistry when the camera isn’t
snapping.
When she invites him to attend the party with her, he agrees, and she
is
thrilled. Derica is normally too reserved for her own good. Can a
magical dress
and a drop-dead gorgeous man make her throw caution to the wind and
live a
little?

Allison is
less than thrilled about her ten-year reunion. She can’t miss it
though,
especially when she has to help out. She sets out to find a dress and
stumbles
across YOUR DESIRE, a vintage clothing store. Nigel and Edwina convince
her
that a plaid, taffeta fifties style dress is the perfect thing for her
Fifties-theme reunion. She decides to take a chance and go with it. Bad
decision! She sticks out like a sore thumb, and is more than ready to
dump the
dress. She doesn’t get the chance to rid herself of it yet, though,
because she
has an unexpected visitor. On her way home, she finds that a handsome
stranger
has crashed through her fence and is injured. Allie doesn’t want a
houseguest,
especially a cranky, stubborn, sexy one; but she doesn’t have a choice.
Frank,
the stranger, needs her help. He lost his sight in the accident and he
needs
Allie’s nursing expertise to get him through the night. As the night
wears on
though, he finds that he needs more than her professional expertise. He
needs
her…
YOUR DESIRE
is actually two refreshing short stories that combine a healthy dose of
magic
and matchmaking to push two couples together. Each author writes a
story that
is sexy, steamy, and indeed, magical. Derica and Kailen singe the pages
with
desire, chemistry and naughtiness. Allie and Frank engage in a
whirlwind
romance that delves deeper than the surface and results in sweet heat
and
tender passion. Indulge yourself in two tales of romance and some
happy-ever-after.
