Sterling Prescott, on the other hand, begins as an arrogant and ruthless businessman who’s not very likeable. But the readers are sure to warm up to him as they learn of his family troubles as well as his gradual evolution into a caring person and a genuine lover thanks to his growing feelings for this stubborn woman. Their, by turn, acrimonious and passionate encounters make the sparks fly and the pages sizzle and hold the readers captive until the very end. This timeless tale has plenty of romance, passion, emotions, and even a bit of suspense thrown in. Lee also provides a behind-the-scenes look at the current trend of reality shows like ‘The Bachelor’. Together with spicy Texas flavor, this book is sure to appeal to romance readers everywhere.
