SILK SCARVES AND SEDUCTION by Shiloh Walker

Ever since Marc showed her in middle school that her boyfriend was cheating on her, by shoving her into a room where said boyfriend was playing tonsil hockey with another girl, Valery “Blush” Taylor has made it her goal to pester Marc when possible. This harassment is also a smoke screen for the attraction she feels towards him which she feels he would in no way welcome.

Ever since his misguided intentions hurt Blush, Dr. Marc Ford has been taking flack from her as atonement for her pain. His guilt and his surety that Blush hates him, has also prevented him from confessing the love he’s harbored toward her for years. Until he receives a surprise gift for his birthday and he begins to speculate that maybe there’s a chance for them yet.

Now if they can both keep the doubt and insecurities from overwhelming them, Marc and Blush just may find what they’ve been waiting for.

SILK SCARVES AND SEDUCTION seduced my heart from the first page. Shiloh Walker has created characters that pull at your heart and whose consuming attraction is almost too hot and certainly not for the faint of heart. I loved that Marc and Blush knew each other and were friends since elementary school who then fell in love. Also, that they were both so busy trying to protect their hearts that they failed to see the love that existed between them for all others to see.  If SILK SCARVES AND SEDUCTION is any indication of the type of writer Shiloh Walker is then I can guarantee that I’ll be reading more of her work and encourage you to do the same. Shiloh Walker has the ability to create plots and characters that draw people’s interest and make them want everything to work out for the best.
