Unbeknownst
to Nicola Barrington, she’s the target for a terrorist group. These
people will
stop at nothing to kidnap her and use her for their own purposes
against the
U.S. Government.
It is SDDU
(Special Designation Defense Unit) agent, Alex Rodriguez job to keep
Nicola
safe. For months he has watched from afar, watched to make sure she
never came
to any harm. Alex is a man whose
identity is even lost to him at times and always gets the job done. But his attraction for Nicola begins to
cloud his judgment and where jobs for him are never personal, Alex
finds
protecting her to be just that. Nicola and
Alex flee together to keep her alive as the threats to her life hit too
close. But how long will this soldier
keep his mission, his woman alive, as business becomes pleasure?
New author,
Dana Marton pens an amazing page-turner in Shadow
Soldier. With action and adventure, bullets and explosions,
sexual
tension and emotional dilemmas, a reader has to hold on tight for this
explosive ride.
Alex is a
magnificent hero who touches a reader on many levels. The past has
scarred him
physically and emotionally, making him a loner. It
takes the feisty and courageous Nicola, to break
through his barriers
to show him exactly what is missing from his life. The danger that
seems to be
around every corner makes for a tension-filled and thrilling read.
I think
Dana Marton is an author who is going to be around for a long while if
her
first story is an indication of what to expect from her.
It’s equally awesome that Shadow
Soldier is only the first
in this SDDU series. We met Spike, another agent who is involved in
keeping
Nicola safe. He really captured my attention and curiosity and I can’t
wait to
learn more about him in his own story. Dana
Marton is a new author to watch out for. I know
I will be anxiously
waiting for the sequel to Shadow
Soldier. This story is not to be
missed.
Watch for
Spike’s story in January 2005 in Secret
Soldier.
