Sapphire
is an exotic dancer whose show travels the galaxy. She’s just been
named Galaxy
Playmate of the Year and sees no reason why a girl should have to lead
a staid
and respectable life when it’d be much more fun, not to mention more
lucrative,
shaking your assets to a crowd that desires you.
Roark
knows he’s found his woman and will do everything in his power to get
her. Even
take a look into her mind to find out all her desires. He doesn’t even
mind
that she strips as long as she comes home with him.
A
telepath has been attending Sapphires performances and bringing her to
the
brink of release and now her arousal seems to be just beneath the
surface with
no sign of it being satisfied. After leaving Sapphire in agony for a
time her
telepath makes himself known and must now convince her to believe in a
love
that seems to have sprouted over night.
SAPPHIRE
is a jewel of a story. Michelle M.
Pillow has created a character that is unafraid of her sexuality. I liked that Sapphire had this attitude of
owning her sexuality and of not allowing others to dictate her actions.
She
knows what she likes and wants and is not ashamed of pursuing it. The
palpable
magnetism between the characters is scorching. I also like the thought
of
people that are meant to be together. As well as Roark’s acceptance of
Sapphire’s
love of her job and that he doesn’t contemplate forcing her to quit. If
you’re
looking for a quick read with plenty of fire then look no further.
Michelle M
Pillow has a great ability to weave captivating plots and I look
forward to
reading more of her work.
