Xandra
Fortune, a model with no family ties, believes she has a great future
with
Dimitri Petronides, a Greek man in charge of his family’s business in Greece.
On the
day that she discovers she is pregnant with Dimitri’s child, Xandra
also
discovers he is leaving her to marry another woman due to his family
obligations. Heartbroken and confused, Xandra tries to change Dimitri’s
mind
and tells him of their impending parenthood - only Dimitri doesn’t
believe her.
Xandra flees New York
for her sister’s home to have her child and get over Dimitri. She never thought he would come looking for
her…
An
honourable and family-oriented man, Dimitri Petronides never thought
his affair
with Xandra Fortune would become so important. But it did and he was
comfortable with their relationship. But when his dying grandfather
gives him
an ultimatum and demands he marry Phoebe Leonides now, Dimitri has no
choice
but to agree. Hesitancy to walk away from Xandra turns to anger as she
tries to
claim she is pregnant with his child. He doesn’t believe her and it
makes
walking away a little bit easier.
Xandra and
Dimitri part ways with contempt, unresolved feelings and hidden
heartache. Are they really finished or
will they find
their way back to one another again?
Lucy Monroe
pens a genuine romance full of intense ups and downs, roller-coaster
emotions
and characters that are memorable in The
Billionaire’s Pregnant Mistress. The tumultuous emotions the
characters
go through, as well as the reader, hit high and low to everything that
we as
humans believe, value and respect. Dimitri and Xandra touch readers to
the core
with their misgivings, mistrust and everything that they are. True
heart in
romance comes from within and Ms. Monroe opens herself up to readers in
her
writing, which usually makes for a lot of tears and big smiles.
The Billionaire’s
Pregnant Mistress will make one shed a
tear or two…or
a dozen. I don’t think anyone could read this beautiful romance without
being
choked up. The sensual heat between Xandra and Dimitri is enough to
light a
match effortlessly. Lucy Monroe tops my
list of authors who are memorable. I encourage readers to experience
romance
with this author…you’ll be addicted to romance for life and begging for
more!
