Max
Adams is on the look out for his prophesized mate. He must claim her
before
time runs out or he will be subject to a curse.
He just doesn’t count on being carted off to the
pound while in wolf
form. It is there that he finds his mate
and now he must suffer some indignities, such as being named Fluffy by
his lady
love, before he can reveal himself to his mate.
Max
is the alpha male of his pack who must claim his mate to bring some new
blood
into his pack of misfits. He’s put off looking for his mate for almost
a year
and now time is running out. He’s not
sure he believes in destiny but he’s not willing to put his belief to
the test.
JC
Jensen is a sucker for a lost cause so when she spies a wild mangy dog
about to
be put to sleep she decides to take him home and names him Fluffy. She
harbors
some doubts about herself after she goes too far with her new neighbor.
She’s
not sure whether she should trust her heart or listen to her mind.
Dakota
Cassidy’s AN AMERICAN WEREWOLF IN HOBOKEN is a treat. Its steamy sex
scenes are
hot enough to keep you warm on a cold winter night. But that isn’t all
that the
book has to offer it also appeals to a reader’s sense of humor. It made
me
laugh that Max who prides himself on being an alpha male is called
Fluffy while
in wolf form and referred to as “snookums” by JC, which he finds
completely
beneath him. I also enjoyed the hodgepodge that is Max’s wolf pack. I
especially liked the vegetarian werewolf who keeps rabbits as pets much
to the
amazement of his pack. So if you’re looking for hot sex scenes hat are
skillfully
offset by humor then AN AMERICAN WEREWOLF IN HOBOKEN is just the book
for you.
I’m looking forward to the next story in this series WHAT’S NEW
PUSSYCAT.
