The Bible commends older women to teach younger women (Titus 2:3-5) but, sadly, this doesn’t happen often enough, or at all, in today’s society. Noting the lack of mentoring and desire for it from younger women, the authors sent thousands of surveys out to Christian women of all ages in all walks of life. They included friends, family, churches, e-mail acquaintances, nursing home residents, every where there might possibly be a solid inspirational recount of God’s providence in even the most dire circumstances.
The older women responded in a huge way.
The result is this compilation of real life stories that touch, teach and makes us think.
Divided into nine different chapters, covering adversity, marriage, mothers, living single, strengthening faith, financial issues, depression, abuse, compassion and encouragement the book is an easy to use easy to read inspirational journey.
Like reading letters from a favorite friend, trusted aunt, adored mom, or dear sister, this inspiring book will certainly be resourceful to its readers. Definitely a keeper, Where Women Walked is highly recommended.
