One evening
after work, Brianna Holmes is attacked in the elevator and her life is
changed
forever. As a driven career woman as a
research assistant in a large, successful company, Brianna never
imagines her
life will change in a moment. But when
she is attacked and looks into the eyes of her attacker, Brianna’s life
as she
knew it ends and she fights to stay alive. When she knows he won’t let
her live,
as she looks into his soulless eyes, the only thing she really sees is
the
knife he is brandishing. But as she fades into unconsciousness she sees
a man
struggling with her attacker.
When
Brianna awakens, she is in strange surroundings with no memory of
getting
there. She soon learns that she is at Vandamere Estates and her rescuer
was
Dayton Vandamere. Brianna is confused at Dayton’s
assistance and his silence as to why he is really helping her, which
leads her
to mistrust him.
As Brianna
recovers, she and Dayton
grow closer, despite the secrets between them. What secrets does
Dayton harbour?
Can
Brianna’s feelings grow for Dayton
even though he keeps things from her?
Wanting More is a fast-paced suspense
story that
keeps a reader on their toes. Brianna is a strong woman who learns to
live
again after a harrowing ordeal. With the help of Dayton she is nurtured back to health
and the
feelings she begins to feel for him, while quick and frightening, are
calming
to her soul. The threat of the stalker
lurking in the shadows is intense and riveting. It’s a breathless wait
to
discover what is really going on. Jennifer Cloud holds a reader
spellbound with
evil, the shadows, uneasiness and a woman’s worst nightmare, which she
splendidly blends with romance. Wanting
