Columnist
Beth Phillips has tried to advise her loyal readers about sex and love.
Yet
what makes her an expert when she’s been out of circulation for a long
time and
has very little experience? When Phoenix Rising, the paper she works
for is
going to be under new management, Beth has three columns to prove her
worth to
Rafe Jarvis, the VP who will let her column stay or go. Following her
friend Sara’s
advice, Beth hits a hotel bar looking for a man to use as research for
her
first column. Can Beth, the shy
librarian-esque woman, learn all there is to know about the dating
game, men
and even about herself as she struggles to save her career?
A.J. thinks
Beth is learning the ropes of the dating game very well. A.J. meets
Beth at the
hotel bar and her wobbly walk and insecurities call to him. After one
night
with Beth, A.J. is helpless to deny himself the chance to see her
again. But he
has secrets that Beth may never understand if she learns the truth. How
far
will A.J. go before his guilt becomes too much?
Feel Very
Truly Sexy thanks to
A.J.! The man sizzles right of the pages
and author Dawn Atkins pens a most delicious hero readers can fall in
love
with. Sexy as never been so good or
wonderfully portrayed as it is in this story.
Beth could be any woman out there who has had their
heart broken and her
self-esteem shattered. Thanks to A.J., he brings out everything womanly
and
beautiful in Beth and the reader can appreciate his understanding and
delicate
hands (Boy can we!!) as he shows her exactly who she really is.
Married or
single, old or young, readers won’t be able to help but fall in love
with A.J.
and understand his own pain that he tries to run from. Readers will all
fall a
bit in lust with the gorgeous cover on Very
Truly Sexy. I would have bought
this one for the cover alone! But the
story inside by this talented author sizzles with heat, spontaneity and
heart. Very Truly Sexy is in one word – memorable and it is the best story from
Dawn Atkins that I have read to date. Absolutely recommended to all
readers!
