AN UNDIVIDED HEART, third book in the Sister Circle Series, introduces new tenants and records the lives of familiar friends as lives change in Evelyn Peerbaugh’s boarding home, Peerbaugh Place.
One new young woman applying for tenancy seems to fit perfectly and Evelyn is drawn to the quiet girl. Not like the older woman, who has taken great care to appear younger than she is, who arrives and almost demanding a room and makes Evelyn curiously cautious. Evelyn cautiously accepts her into the home where personalities mix and mingle.
Imagine Evelyn’s surprise, when romantic feelings for a dear friend change from friendship to romance. Initially, she’s jealous and envious when she hears this friend is dating another. But, when she realizes those emotions are the result of deeper, romantic, feelings, she doesn’t know what to do. Her faith in God and sister-friend relationships are what she depends on to see her through.
And, of course, the regular drama of the intertwined lives in Peerbaugh Place brings us right into the mix where we feel at home.
These two authors have done another superb job in An Undivided Heart getting the reader totally absorbed and immersed in the comfy and sweet life at Peerbaugh Place.
