Molly Coddle is one out of six individually published short stories that originally appeared in the anthology Phantasmagoria. These stories were the most talked about from the anthology. Each one has a twist on familiar situations.
Molly Coddle is a notorious highwayman who makes good use of her feminine assets to persuade Beau, her victim, to tell her where his valuables are hidden within his coach. She rewards him with a quickie and leaves him wanting more of her.
This story sounded like the opening scene of a book and like Beau, I was left wanting more. This story has the potential to become a fun and interesting full-length historical book. The characters were interesting, the premise is solid and Morgan Hawke gives you just enough story to make you wonder what happens to Molly and what Beau does next. This story is a good read but it will leave you wishing it was longer.
Warning: Contains light bondage.
