MARTI GETS HER M.A.N. by Camille Anthony

What woman wouldn't want a guy with a voice like Sean Connery, the toe-curling good looks of Denzel Washington and the stamina of Superman? What ever happened to on-time deliveries?

Colonel Martini "Marti" Harmon's been fighting alien invaders for five miserable years on the outer rim of civilization, overseeing mop-up operations and nary a worthy male in sight. She's desperate for a chance to release some of that pent up frustration with a guy who's not intimidated by her Amazon reputation and the gorgeous body that come along with the package.

Only a M.A.N. (a Mechanical Anatomically-correct Nurturer, with Artificial Intelligence) can satisfy her intense, sensual hunger. But, some incompetent fool at M.A.N.-Kind screwed up her order. Her nerves are shot, her patience ran out long ago, and she's determined to get her money's worth…

Ms. Anthony combines talented story telling and a humorous twist of stereotype to create this must-read tale! Marti is strong, but not unbelievable. She's a gal who knows what she wants, and isn't afraid to take it. Yet she also yearns for what most of us want: to be loved for herself and to have someone to hold her, something to look forward to when she comes home on leave. This warms the reader to her, admiring her strength, yet understanding her deeper humanity.

Denzel may be more than "merely mortal", but he's still got a heart, and Marti's more than enough to make it beat double time. He's wary, but with reason. He fears rejection for his cyborg nature and wants a chance, too.

I loved this launch to the Women of Steel series and have read it more than once. If you like it hot, funny and positively addicting, then this is for you!
