Lucky
Strikes is a man with a mission. He has to check out the Royal Casino,
on the
Owejba Reservation, to see if they have been practicing illegal gaming.
His
plan seems simple enough; he will just slip in undetected, see what is
going
on, and then slip out. But it proves not so simple after all, because
on a
whim, he plays a slot machine, wins the million-dollar prize and ends
up having
to reveal his identity, and it throws everything off kilter.
In the
midst of all of the hoopla, he meets Charli Kilgour, the sexy lady who
runs the
casino. Charli is what dreams are made of, but unfortunately she wants
nothing
to do with him. Especially, after she finds out why he is there and
that he is
authorized to shut them down. Their dislike for each other can’t
overshadow the
basic attraction that they feel though. It soon becomes evident that
their
conflicts of interest won’t be enough to keep them from acting on their
personal interests.
LUCKY’S
STRIKE is a winner! Charli and Lucky can’t resist each other, and their
snappy
conversation only instigates their inevitable sexual antics. Charli is
a career-minded
woman who is weary of Lucky’s interest, yet she is helpless to deny
herself
when she has the opportunity to indulge in some entertainment. Ms.
Stilletto
has a knack for writing a sharp, sexy story that hooks the reader.
