When a
tragic accident left Enrico DiRinaldi unable to walk, he had a time
where all
his dreams might not happen. But more determined to have the family he
wanted,
he proposes a marriage of convenience to Gianna Lakewood.
Rico and Gianna have known each other all of
their lives and she is like family to his own.
Gianna also makes him feel like a man during a time
that his self-esteem
is shattered and he feels less than a whole man. He knows Gianna will
be there
for him and he can’t seem to resist her as they spend more and more
time
together.
Gianna has
loved Rico since she was fifteen years old.
He is everything she has ever wanted in a man and
she will always love
him. When she receives the call from her brother that Rico has been
shot,
Gianna rushes to New York
to be by his side. Gianna spends every
moment at his bedside while he is in a coma and finally after an
endless five
days, he awakens. When Rico proposes
marriage to her, Gianna is thrilled but shocked. When Rico tells her
that he
wants children and a complete family, Gianna can’t resist her truest
hearts
desire and says yes to his proposal. Can Rico ever fall in love with
Gianna?
What will happen when his ex-fiancé comes back in the picture?
Will Gianna lose
her heart for good?
Lucy Monroe
pens a powerful tale with vulnerable characters in The
Italian’s Suitable Wife. Rico is a man whose
vulnerability lies in the unknown – if he will ever walk again. He
grabs on to
the dream of having a family and will do whatever it takes to achieve
it, even
marry for convenience. Gianna’s weakness
is Rico and she’s driven by her hope that he will someday reciprocate
those feelings.
But with tumultuous emotions, secrets and insecurities, it’s a roller
coaster
of up and down emotions like never before.
Ms. Monroe
pens another Italian God whose insecurities make him more endearing and
hard to
resist. While he is still an Alpha male to the fullest, it was sweet to
see
that this Italian had vulnerabilities that were easy to read. Gianna’s love for Rico was touching and
undeniable. She is a woman of compassion and strength that is truly
enchanting. Lucy Monroe and her calling
– Italian Alpha Heroes – do not disappoint in The
Italian’s Suitable Wife.
Just when one thinks this author has written the
best of her best
heroes, she releases another story and we are proven wrong. Dream with
Rico and
Gianna and see that dreams can come true … thanks Lucy Monroe!
