Callie
feels like she has nothing left to lose. She has already lost her
father and
his ranch. The only thing that she has left is her pride and her
dignity, both
of which are about to suffer at the hands of Mica Blackfeather. She is

something more. Mica is the typical tough guy that railroads Callie
into
marriage, yet his tough exterior hides his softer, sensitive side. He
is a
character of contrasting qualities that appeal to the reader. Callie
touches
his heart and he finds that he no longer has the will to hurt her; he
wants to
protect her from being hurt. Mica and Callie share a tumultuous
relationship
that builds from an intense passion and ends with a deeper bond. Ms.
Casper
delivers a touching love story that should appeal to fans of all types
of
romance. She has proven to be a success at writing romances. Her
ability to
combine romance, spicy sex scenes and characters with tangible emotions
is
amazing. I look forward to her next
book.
