Veronica
Bailey, VP in a bank, has to live up to the high standards that her
employers
demand. Veronica has never geared from her goal to become a bank

someday and has had an impeccable track record of being and doing

He’s
got the swagger and the long hair of a biker, yet his profession is a
professor
of philosophy. Nicholas’ image is put to the test when he lays eyes on
Veronica
Bailey. From the moment he sees her, he knows she’s everything he could
ever
want. But what will have to do to get her?
Veronica
and Nicholas fall in love fast and furiously. However, things are not
totally
as they seem. Will their careers tear them apart before they truly
begin?

Damschroder is a name that just won’t be forgotten. Especially after
reading
the dynamo hit, Against the Rules.
This one-sitting explosion is intense, heated
and a wonderful story that tells it like it is and that we should
“never judge
a book by its cover.” Veronica and
Nicholas learn this about one another and it’s a roller-coaster ride of
emotion
and stubbornness from both of these characters. Veronica carries
herself well
and controls her inner desires. Nicholas
is nearly too sexy for words and I wouldn’t mind breaking all the rules
with
this hunky guy.
Though I
have read other stories from Ms. Damschroder, Against
the Rules really made me sit up and take notice of
her and she’s definitely secured herself on my long list of favourites
after
this one. Readers should have a tall
iced beverage in hand when reading this, be prepared to be swept away
and also
hope to someday have a biker like Nicholas dance his way into their
lives. Natalie J. Damschroder sets her own
rules with
Against the Rules. I am
anxious for more of Black Tie Inc!
Hopefully we get to see what happened with the new
business ventures of
Nicholas’ brother, Brian! <g>
