Gywn Verde has a very typical life: nice paying job, decent house, and selfish boyfriend. She’s settled for a staid, traditional life, so what if her sex life stinks. Gywn gets better satisfaction from her vibrator than her boyfriend. All of that changes though, when she’s offered one night with a near perfect man, a night that every girl dreams of having. It’s all because of a costume party and her scanty Tinkerbell outfit.
Billionaire, Dominic Laredo, has spent his adult life fulfilling fantasies; in fact, he’s turned it into a lucrative business. Still, his personal life is lacking, as he’s never found the perfect woman, one willing to play and enjoy herself in the bedroom. Of course, that was before his Captain Hook met Gwyn’s Tinkerbell.
Taking place over the course of forty-eight hours, HOOK, WINE, AND TINKER, is an interesting take on ‘love at first sight’. The bedroom romps between Gwyn and Dominic are very hot, sweet, and fun. Fun with costumes, toys, even a bathtub livens up their time together keeping the reading intense. I truly enjoyed the games that Ms. Ballou created for Gwyn and Dominic. However, it’s hard to believe it’s a happily ever after for a couple who bases their future on one night’s sex. That, and Gwyn’s determination to stick it out with her boyfriend, Peter, was difficult to swallow. Still, I’m willing to suspend the belief in the hopes that finally Captain Hook got the girl rather than Peter Pan.
