A FAMILY FOR TORY by Margaret Daley

Victoria Alexander owns a floundering horse ranch where she boards other people’s horses and has a few of her own. She gives riding lessons and works with special needs students. A victim of a horrific crime, Tory shies away from men. But when a special child claims her heart, Tory starts to rethink her life.

Slade Donaldson feels guilt over the tragic accident that killed his wife and left his daughter less than whole. He’ll do anything in his power to ensure that his child will have the best care possible. Even if it means marrying a woman out of convenience to have a mother and built in care-giver for his daughter.

When Tory’s mother comes close to death, Tory must face her fears head-on. Will she triumph over the past? Or will the past destroy her future?

A FAMILY FOR TORY is a sweet romance, full of hope and promise. I instantly fell in love with Tory and hoped that she would come to grips with her past in order to enjoy the present and future. Slade didn’t cope very well as a single father, putting in long hours at work and leaving the care of his child primarily with others in order to provide the therapy she needed. Once he met Tory, he cut his work hours back considerably. I hoped that Tory and Slade would be able to work out their differences.

A FAMILY FOR TORY is a quick read, sure to grab the interest of the reader. It’s fascinating reading about the various aspects of a horse ranch, and lovers of horses will also enjoy this book. Pick it up today!
