Widow Tess Britton learns of her
husband Alans infidelity the day he dies in an auto accident along with the other
woman. Tess feels abandoned not only by her husband but also by God. Why did He let these
things happen? Now, Tess guards her heart well. While staying at the lakeside cottage,
Tess meets a neighbors brother, Ryan. Their friendship is cautious at first, but
starts developing into something more. Will Tess be able to trust her heart to someone
after Alans betrayal?
Ryans fiancée Donna broke up with him just
months before he stays at his sister Jills cottage while her husband is in the
hospital with appendicitis. Ryan sees someone sneaking around another cottage and
confronts the person. Seems it is the owner, Tess, who develops an uncanny ability to have
Ryan rescue her out of one fix, only to fall into another. Soon the two become fast
friends sharing stories of past relationships. It isnt long before romance enters
the equation. But, Ryans little omission of facts in his story about his
relationship with Donna comes back and could ruin everything.
Will this new fragile love be able to
overcome history and obstacles?
I recommend ALL GOOD GIFTS. It is a sweet romance,
with dual themes: Gods presence and second chances. God is even in the darkest
circumstance and a second chance at love may be just next door.
