Isabel Palmer, aka Izzy, doesnt trust
men except for Henry. Henry is there when Izzy needs him, when
she just wants to cuddle, when she needs a shoulder to lean on, hes there. Henry isnt all macho; he doesnt brag about the ladies, he
doesnt even act like a jerk. Henry is the only guy she
needs in her life, but too bad Henry comes with four legs and a bark. Henry
is part would-hound and something else and he loves his owner, Izzy dearly.
Which is why Henry is going to bring her together with THE right man, and no one
like the unfaithful loser she recently parted ways with either.
Henry
likes Nick. Nick is a vet, who is compassionate, good looking and
charming. Henry approves of Nick, now its just a matter of
Izzy seeing that he is her perfect match. Thank heavens for A
GIRLS BEST FRIEND in Henry!!!
Elizabeth
Young pens a wonderful Chick Lit tale. I really fell for Henry,
he was such a sweetheart! I found that there was a vast amount of
characters to keep track of early on in the story, which sometimes got confusing. But A GIRLS BEST FRIEND is a wonderful, fun, spirited tale that
certainly didnt disappoint. It was a fun time with Henry
and Izzy, which had its share of sad moments as well. Elizabeth
Young is an author I hope to read again very soon!
