Angela and Christian had been best friends for years.  Even through boyfriends Angela still considered Christian her best friend.  Every year they had gotten together for Thanksgiving and Christmas so they wouldn’t be alone.  Christian left his hometown to get a good job as a high paid LAN Administrator in Houston.  But he still came back to Dallas to be with Angela for the holidays.  One Thanksgiving they went from being friends to becoming lovers. 

Over the next two years Christian’s work kept him away from Angela.  Angela got tired of waiting for Christian so she found a new boyfriend.  The trouble was he didn’t fill the empty spots in her heart.  So when Christian gets a transfer back to Dallas to be with her again she was not sure she wanted to take up where they left off.  When Christian sees Angela’s boyfriend coming out of her apartment, he realizes that he is the same man that was playing tongue tag with another woman the night he arrived in town.  Would Angela believe him if he told her about seeing her current boyfriend with another woman?  Would she give him the chance to resume the romance he let work interfere with two years ago?  Can Angela commit to Christian when his job always seems to come first? 

A Christmas Favor is a delightful story of erotic romance.  It’s the perfect novel for sitting by the fire and reading this holiday season.  I truly enjoyed the exchanges between Christian and Angela.  Their pain leaps out to you from the pages.  It is only with each other that they can be themselves.  The relationship between the two showed that true love takes some work on both sides.  Mr. Illyvich certainly knows how to write sex scenes.  They are so hot, you will have fan yourself throughout the book.  A Christmas Favor is not to be missed.  Be sure you put it on your shopping list.  I will be eagerly waiting for future novels by Mr. Illyvich.
