Years ago
when she was fourteen years old, Marissa Vanderson and her sister
Gillian, made
a “wild to do” list of all the things Gillian would do when she hit the
age
of eighteen, just days away.
Gillian wanted to have a toe-curling French
kiss, have sex and take her sister to the zoo. But before Gillian could
even
reach eighteen, she is killed in an accident.
Marissa’s life became unbearable after the death of
her sister. Twenty years before, her
brother had been
kidnapped and then with Gillian’s death, Marissa’s parents became even
more
protective of her. Now, years later and
trying to escape her over-bearing parents, Marissa ends up at a local
bar where
she meets occasional bartender, Dane Sinclair.
Marissa plans to do everything on the “wild” list
that should have been
done by her sister years ago. Deciding
that sexy bartender, Dane Sinclair would do just nicely; Marissa
propositions
him to do the job…
Dane
Sinclair never expected to encounter another rich woman who would want
him only
for sex. He went down that road once and
it ended in divorce. Now Dane is careful
to avoid the rich ladies of society, but he is extremely curious about
Marissa
Vanderson. Dane does agree to work for
Marissa for a few days, show her around town and keep her safe until
her list
is done. But a few days with Marissa
soon becomes almost too much to bear, when there is a murderer on the
loose,
U.S. Marshall’s on their tail and the past comes back to shake up the
Vanderson
family.
Will
Marissa successfully complete her “wild” list?
Will Dane surrender to Marissa and give her a night
to remember?
Fun,
suspense and charming romance are found in Michele R. Bardsley’s Wild Women. This book
is difficult to put down once
begun. The story gracefully flows and
the characters shine, from Marissa and Dane to the enjoyable Tuesday
and Brent,
to even the U.S. Marshall’s. Marissa is
a fresh and sassy character who may be a bit naïve but she is
thoroughly
enjoyable and knows what she wants.
Marissa and Dane shoot sparks off each other
instantly and it’s
enjoyable to watch Dane fight the attraction.
Michele R.
Bardsley entertains, captivates and keeps the surprises and humour
coming with
her latest release, Wild Women.
The humour, suspense and romance are
creatively matched and the characters are genuine.
I hope that we will be graced with Dane’s
friend Brent and his own story sometimes soon.
Wild Women is highly
recommended!
