Victoria Lowell lives a quiet life. She spends her days painting and raising her
difficult fifteen year old daughter, Noelle, she is estranged from her overprotective,
rich father and divorced from a man that she knows she should never have married. Nothing that would lead to her being kidnapped
from her own home in broad daylight, but kidnapped she has been without a clue as to who
or why anyone would wish to harm her.
When her
old flame, Del Wilder literally drops back into her life and tries to trade his life for
hers, she believes her luck has gone from bad to worse.
But the kidnappers don’t let Del go as promised, and tie Vic and Del
together and strap them to a bomb to die together. Vic doesn’t understand why she has
become involved in this mess but she thinks that Del is a drug dealer and that he has
brought this danger into her life.

Del and Vic loved each other completely and passionately but circumstances and
misunderstandings tore them apart and Del left town.
They haven’t seen one another in fifteen years but neither have
forgotten each other or the passion they had that is still there and still explosive. As they try and stay a step ahead of the
kidnappers who are hunting them, they learn about each other again, rediscover their
incredible passion and each other. But will
Del be able to forgive Vic for years of deception and silence when he learns her biggest
secret?
Ms. Jones
gives readers a wonderfully written suspense filled, exciting story of wilder days and
even wilder nights. Del Wilder is an amazing,
hilarious bad boy who is sexy as sin and very lovable.
The intensity between him and Vic is breathtaking and very, very real. The secondary characters in this story; Noelle
Lowell and Shock, Del’s partner add an exuberantly fun side to the story that I found
made WILDER DAYS even more real and all that more unforgettable.
I was
touched by the love and passion between Del and Vic that even after so many years is still
strong and volatile. This story is
fast-paced, chock full of danger and passion with a comical edge. These characters are fabulous, the story is
spectacular and this author is unforgettable. Linda
Winstead Jones books are always an automatic buy for me and I enjoyed the “walk on
the wild side” with this one.
Watch for
the sequel to WILDER DAYS with Del’s friend Clint Sinclair in CLINT’S WILD RIDE
in April 2003. CLINT’S WILD RIDE also
happens to be a sequel to another book by Linda from 2001....HOT ON HIS TRAIL, where we
met Clint’s sister Shea. Also in
July 2003 will be Clint and Shea’s brother Dean’s story with ON DEAN’S
WATCH.
